Rain Scape

Rain Scape

Rain drops drizzling, falling gently to the ground,

like my thoughts dribbling, seeking the profound,

fir trees soaking up the ground’s moisture for relief,

quenching my thirst with droplets of lost love’s grief,

rain drops hitting puddles to spur circular motions,

as thoughts of a new love renew circuitous emotions,

the rain falls steadily down, bringing life’s force to bear,

as I sit and wait for a time for love to relieve my despair.
