The Earth
Nature has brought us a nurturing Earth
providing
plenty
of wild berries to bring about a birth
climbing
ladders
to get a better view, having no girth
watching
horizons
to see what happens, with a sense of mirth
feasting
holidays
bring family together, with fire of hearth
religion
began
with the sun and moon, projecting their worth
power
evaded
nature’s path in life, realizing love’s force
balancing
struggles
with work and play, having innate childbirth
digging
farrows
in the ground sowing seeds to be growing
cultivating
cultural
veins of new horizons, wild winds begin blowing
values
sustaining
us are nature’s way of keeping our lives flowing
muddy
pathways
cause us to get stuck, just getting cars to going
surface
layers
of the earth’s crust need enrichment ongoing
solid
landscapes
need plowing to break up the solids, exploding
plowing
invigorates
the ground to be seeded, as if controlling
fertilizing
furrows
before seeding allows for the grounds in sowing
eating
after
working the earth keeps strength from getting behind
working
landscapes
to look like wonderlands is factoring the mind
carving
topiary
to look like animals, as artists are inclined
building
houses
to live in is hard work, love becoming opined
creating
shapely
forms in landscapes must be opulently defined
keeping
balance
on the Earth is hard to do, cosmically aligned
architecture
taking
form is archaic in some ways to be combined
meditation
supports
all the arts in ways that are becoming primed
freeing
faculties
of stress is part of living in modern daylight
facing
struggles
has the benefit of self-esteem gaining light
global
changes
have added poise in the marketplace without fright
meteorites
crashing
down to the earth, frighten some, fireballs are a sight
wilderness
collects
the crazy folks in places that hide their tough bite
living
faithful
to yourself is hard to do, hate hides the moonlight
loving
caring
for others is responsibility of insight
earthworks
persuades
folks to do something artistic with their foresight.
